Een leven zonder Bsit kunnen en willen we ons intussen niet meer inbeelden. De van oorsprong Brusselse app brengt je in contact met babysits die je aanbevolen worden door vrienden en derden en bovendien in je buurt wonen. Een profiel is in een handomdraai gemaakt, het enige wat je nodig hebt is een kredietkaart. De app op zich is helemaal gratis, maar wanneer je een sitter boekt, dan gaat een kwartiertje van je uurtarief – die je trouwens zelf bepaalt – naar de bedenkers van de dienst. Gênante momenten waarbij je al je kleingeld zit bijeen te schrapen, niet helemaal zeker hoeveel je moet betalen terwijl je druk bezig bent te verstoppen hoe dronken of tipsy je eigenlijk bent, zijn bij deze ook voorgoed verleden tijd. De app rekent uit hoeveel je haar of hem precies moet en de meesten kan je ook al via de app betalen en tippen. Hoe sneller je kan afrekenen, hoe sneller je kan gaan liggen.
Bsit is intussen in de hele Benelux actief, sinds kort ook in Parijs en ‘binnenkort nog veel meer’. Een city trip inplannen met kinderen en toch wat vrije tijd met z’n tweeën hebben… het kan eindelijk!

We can’t and won’t imagine our lives without Bsit (bsit.com) anymore. Originally from Brussels, this app puts you in touch with babysits who are recommended by friends and live in your neighbourhood. A profile is created in an instant; all you need is a credit card. The app itself is free, but when you book a sitter, fifteen minutes of your hourly rate – which you are free to determine – goes to the creators of the service. The awkward moments of having to scrape together your change, not completely sure how much you owe the sitter, while busy trying not to show you’re totally drunk or at least tipsy are also finally over. The app calculates exactly how much you owe him or her and allows you to pay the sitter with a credit card, too.
The faster the bill is settled, the faster you can lie down.
Bsit is active in the whole Benelux, Paris and ‘many more cities coming soon’. Planning a city trip with children and still have some free time as a couple… yes, we finally can!
